WHAT YOU CAN ASK US / THREE EXAMPLES

Three things we can work through with you

01

Line up the items in an estimate

Separate clinical costs from travel, lodging and interpretation, and list what to confirm.

Start with this
02

Decide what to ask a provider

List what to confirm about the clinician, facility licence, product and manufacturer, registration and consent process, and coordinate your enquiry to the provider.

Start with this
03

Check contact and follow-up points

Gather contacts, access to records, where to seek care if symptoms occur and who pays into a pre-travel list of questions to confirm with each provider.

YOUR LIFE / BONA TRUST

An informed choice you can feel comfortable with.

Understand the explanations and evidence, and make a medical choice you feel informed about, with clarity on costs and whom to contact after travel. We propose relevant consultation options and a travel plan, and work through cost items, timing and whom to contact about follow-up. We explain scope and fees before you engage us. Clinicians decide diagnosis, suitability and treatment; each provider confirms what it can offer.

01

Start by separating the terms.

Stem cells

Cells with self-renewal and differentiation capabilities. Source, processing, quality and administration vary; the term alone cannot define a treatment.

Conditioned medium

Liquid collected from cell culture after cells are removed. Its contents and purification depend on production; it is distinct from the cells themselves.

Exosomes

A type of extracellular vesicle, not a synonym for all conditioned medium. Verify identity, purity, dose and evidence for the specific indication.

02

Authorisation and evidence: check both.

A facility licence, product registration and evidence for a particular condition answer different questions. Use NPRA CGTP guidance as a starting point, then verify the named product, manufacturer, indication and current regulatory status.

Research findings or personal testimonials do not guarantee an individual outcome.

Ask a clinician about known risks such as infection or immune reactions, unresolved risks, and issues related to quality or administration. Include established care and alternatives in the discussion.

03

Your questions for the clinician.

This checklist stays on your device. Choices are not sent with enquiries or analytics. It does not diagnose or assess suitability.

04

From the estimate to the journey home.

Request an itemised estimate

Separate clinical costs from travel, lodging and interpretation. Confirm unexpected care, cancellation and refunds, currency and payee.

Agree who handles follow-up

Before departure, agree local and home-country contacts, emergency care and access to records. Travel insurance may exclude planned treatment and related events.

BONA TRUST / CONSULTATION PREPARATION

Turn an informed choice into a travel plan.

We work through consultation options, a travel plan, costs and timing around your goals. Clinicians provide diagnosis and treatment; Bona Trust confirms its support scope and fees before engagement.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Questions before your next step.

01Are stem cells and exosomes the same?

No. Stem cells are cells; exosomes are a type of extracellular vesicle released by cells. Conditioned medium is different again. A name alone does not establish composition, quality or clinical effects.

02Are outcomes or safety guaranteed?

No. Assessment depends on the product, administration route, condition and research stage. Ask a clinician about likely benefits, known and unknown risks, alternatives and the option of no intervention.

03What should I ask a provider?

Check the clinician, facility licence, product and manufacturer, registration or authorisation, intended indication, consent process and emergency arrangements separately. A facility licence does not establish product approval.

04What belongs in a written estimate?

Separate consultation, tests, product, procedure, follow-up, interpretation, travel and accommodation. Confirm additional investigations, adverse-event care, cancellation terms, currency and payment dates.

05How should I plan follow-up after returning home?

Before travel, agree contact details, access to records, where to seek care if symptoms occur and who pays. Discuss continuity of care with your usual clinician.

06Does Bona Trust provide medical treatment?

This page supports information organisation and consultation preparation. Bona Trust does not use it to diagnose, determine treatment suitability or guarantee results. Any coordination scope and charges are confirmed in advance.
